Handmade Pillowcases with Crochet Edging

I needed a little pick-me-up in the boudoir!
I had this fabric just lying around in my sewing stash waiting on just the right project.
This is a really nice cotton fabric with that cool-to-the-touch feel which is a necessity for me.
Made up my own pattern as I went and I am pleased with the results.
It's been so cold here and I have had the whole week off from all my jobs and I have been very busy. I love these quick and easy pick-me-ups.
Just had to throw in my little birdbath girl.
Interested in the tutorial on these pillowcases?
You could whip up your own just in time for Valentines Day.

Bias Tape Love

My daughter Robin of Branderwood House gave me the best'est gift for Christmas!
She has one of these and had to show off with it!
So she found these awesome wooden spools and clothespins and loaded them up for me.....FOR ME!!!
She found this awesome purple berry bowl at Kohl's and knew I needed it too!
I have got to find the perfect project for these tapes.
Good daughter, huh?
